The Connected Communications model is for any communication through which you seek to positively and constructively connect with others to influence beliefs and actions, resolve differences, solve problems, or collaborate effectively, while allowing for the influence of another on our beliefs and actions and maintaining or even improving relationships.\n

Connected Communications are open, reciprocal and timely.\n

This Connected Communications program will:\n

help you increase your influence in positive and constructive ways.
open you up to the influence of others which increases their willingness to be influence by you.
do these things while maintaining or even improving your relationships.

Over the course of this program you will discover that the Connected Communications model is not limited in use to \"difficult conversations,\" \"crucial conversations\", or \"critical conversations.\" Nor it is limited to supervisor to employee communications.

During this program you will discover and practice the six steps of the Connected Communications model which is applicable in a broader sense to any time you seek to influence another, or another is seeking to influence you to:

start, stop, continue or change what is done or how something is done.
do something more often or less often.
think differently about yourself, the other person, your relationship, and the way you work together.
consider each other's perspectives or agree with each other's opinions.

This program is highly interactive and reflective. You will participate in activities and discussions that allow you to not only learn the model from your moderator but to learn from your own experiences and the experiences of other participants while all while applying the model to case studies and your own real-world communication challenges.
